Hello and welcome to Serendipity Bakes! I’m Nicola, the face behind the blog and sweet treats you’ll find on these pages. I started baking for fun when my little boys were very young and I wanted to create birthday cakes and treats for them. As my boys are growing up, they enjoy living in a kitchen where they find these treats on a daily basis!

I also discovered a passion for food photography and have enjoyed being part of styling events and have had my recipes featured in the Supper Club Magazine. If you want to see more of my food photography, pop over and follow me on Instagram.

I love making celebration cakes and decorated biscuits for celebrations. Birthdays, baby showers, christenings and weddings are always such special occasions to be a part of with custom creations. I’ve also worked with leading film studios Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox on their home entertainment launches creating bespoke cupcake gifts and cookie boxes which is so much fun.
